Mountain House, CA is a beautiful community centrally located between Tracy and Livermore. This master planned community was approved by the San Joaquin County Board of Supervisors in 1994 and the first home foundation was poured in 2003. When Mountain House is complete the community will have twelve villages and a Town Center including three elementary schools and a high school.
Shea Homes is proud to offer three styles of homes in the Questa at Mountain House Community: Antigua, Campania and Esplanade. Each unique style offers amenities and floor plans unmatched by any other home in the community.
Just over half of Mountain House’s residents are families with children under the age of eighteen, making this community a perfect place for you and your family to call home. With three K-8 elementary schools: Wicklund, Bethany and Questa, all boasting schools scores that rival neighboring communities, your children have the opportunity to excel in moderately sized classrooms with highly qualified teachers.
Mountain House’s development has been exciting but residents have been eager to send their children to a high school within their own community. Now, they will have a chance! Construction for Mountain House High School has officially begun and the school is slated to open for the 2014/15 school year.
On July 17, 2012 community members and leaders joined together to celebrate this monumental moment in Mountain House’s history. Assembly Member Joan Buchanan, Lammersville Joint Unified School District Superintendent Dale Hansen and Shea Homes President Layne Marceau were just a few of the attendees of the event.
