Keynote Speaker Series with Dr. Roger Landry | Resilience in Healthy Longevity
In our second virtual presentation for 2023, we will continue to explore our theme of The How of Healthy Longevity. This presentation, Resilience and Healthy Longevity will begin our four-part series on resilience. We are focusing on resilience because it is essential for our health and quality of life, as was so shockingly demonstrated to all of us during the Pandemic. Resilience is a complex trait, significantly affected by our level of stress, how we view the world and our place in it, and by how we manage our emotions and those of the people we come in contact with. It is, however, something we can definitely build and enrich, and is therefore, a critical component of the How of experiencing a healthy longevity. In this first presentation on resilience, Dr. Landry will provide an overview of the subject and lay the groundwork for the three more in-depth presentations that will follow in the months ahead.
